1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using djvirginia.com and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

DJ’s of Virginia provides professional DJ, entertainment, and event services in the Northern Virginia and DMV area. Services include music, MC services, lighting, uplighting, photo booth, and other add-ons as specified in booking agreements.

3. Booking and Payment

  • A booking is confirmed upon receipt of signed agreement and deposit payment
  • Deposits are non-refundable; however, dates may be rescheduled with 30 days’ notice
  • Full payment is due 7 days before your event
  • Late payments may result in service cancellation
  • We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Client cancellations within 60 days of event: deposit forfeited, balance owed
  • Client cancellations within 30 days of event: full payment owed
  • DJ’s of Virginia cancellations: full refund or alternative date offered

5. Event Day Responsibilities

  • DJ’s of Virginia will arrive 60 minutes before event start time
  • Setup includes sound check and equipment testing
  • Client is responsible for providing safe access to venue and power sources
  • DJ is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items

6. Liability

  • DJ’s of Virginia is not liable for technical failures, weather, or venue-related issues beyond our control
  • We maintain insurance coverage; details available upon request
  • Client assumes all responsibility for guest conduct and behavior

7. Music and Copyright

  • All music performed is licensed for public performance
  • Clients may request specific songs; however, we reserve the right to decline requests that violate our standards

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website (photos, videos, graphics) is our property or licensed to us
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify without permission

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
  • Use our services for illegal purposes
  • Damage our equipment or property
  • Violate local laws or venue policies

10. Limitation of Liability

DJ’s of Virginia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify DJ’s of Virginia from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of our services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved in Virginia courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated terms.
