Do you work with school administrators and venue coordinators?
Yes — we’re experienced at coordinating with school administration, venue managers, and student event committees. We can provide all documentation including COI for your venue.
What’s your policy on song requests and explicit content?
We strictly play clean/edited versions at all school events. We work with your student committee in advance to build a playlist that’s exciting and appropriate.
Are cold sparklers safe for indoor venues?
Yes — our cold sparklers produce no heat, no smoke, and no fire. They’re approved for indoor use at most venues. We provide documentation to venue managers upon request.
Can you stream the event or record it?
Yes — we offer closed-circuit streaming and recording solutions for school events that want to share the experience with parents or overflow rooms.
How early do you arrive to set up?
We typically arrive 2–3 hours before the event for full production setup, or earlier for larger events. We coordinate timing with your venue’s load-in schedule.

How far in advance should a school book a prom DJ?
Prom dates in spring (April–June) book up quickly, especially Saturday dates. We recommend booking 8–12 months in advance. Contact us as soon as your prom date and venue are confirmed.
Do you handle song requests from students?
Yes — we accept advance requests and work with the student social committee to build a playlist that reflects the class’s taste. We can also take live requests during the event, within the content guidelines your school administration specifies.
Can you coordinate with prom king/queen announcement timing?
Absolutely. DJ Dave coordinates with prom coordinators and chaperones to time the prom court ceremony, king/queen announcement, and spotlight dance precisely. This is standard for all our prom events.
Do you bring lighting?
Yes — professional event lighting is included with all prom packages. We bring moving head lights, LED wash lights, and effect lighting appropriate to the venue size. Uplighting add-ons are also available for hotel ballroom proms.
