What is First Dance on the Cloud?
First Dance on the Cloud uses a low-lying fog machine to create a ground-level cloud effect during your first dance. The fog stays close to the floor, is non-toxic, safe for all guests, and is available as an add-on to any package.
Are cold sparklers safe and allowed at wedding venues?
Cold sparklers produce a sparkling fountain effect that is cool to the touch with no open flame. They are approved for indoor use at most venues. DJ's of Virginia carries full liability insurance and checks venue requirements before every event.
Do you DJ bilingual weddings in Spanish, Arabic, or other languages?
Yes! DJ's of Virginia specializes in bilingual weddings. We offer MCing in English and Spanish for Quinceañeras and Latin weddings, English and Arabic for Middle Eastern weddings, and can accommodate other languages. Our music library covers Latin, Arabic, Bollywood, Persian, and many other cultural traditions.

Do you provide lighting for weddings?
Yes! Our packages include professional uplighting color-matched to your wedding palette, dance floor lighting with moving lights and LED effects, and add-ons including a monogram gobo light, photo booth with prints, and Cold Spark machines for grand entrances.
Can I create a custom playlist for my wedding?
Absolutely. We encourage every couple to share must-play songs, a do-not-play list, and genre preferences before the event via our online planning tools. Our DJ honors your list while reading the crowd to keep energy high all night.
